A reservoir-pipeline-reservoir maniflod system is developed with relevant accessories,
including: flow meters,
pressure sensors, pumps and valves.
Different functions can be realized via the exiting system: metering,
state estimation,
regulation and operation.
The state-of-art algorithms are developed and implemented on Arduino and
Raspberry chips
to realize all functionality.
Various pipeline architectures and topographies can be generated, such
as: mountain and
valley, to mimic in-situ pipeline manifolds.
This experimental setup is important to demonstrate pipeline leak detection and localization techniques that we developed and for pipeline integrity maintenance.
